Unified Greek Council (UGC)
The Unified Greek Council was created for the purpose of encouraging community service and philanthropy, support of high academic standards, the development of campus and community leaders, and to promote diversity within the Baylor community.
At this time, the council is comprised of four sororities and three fraternities. If you are interested in joining one of these organizations, look for UGC events taking place throughout the year.
The fall semester is reserved for upperclassmen and transfer students with at least 12 Baylor credit hours at a 2.67 cumulative GPA and 2.0 current GPA or 24 transfer hours from an institution of higher education at a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Finally, to be an active member in any organizations, members are required to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.33 and current GPA of 2.0.
First-year students wishing to participate in spring recruitment must have completed a minimum of one semester in residence at Baylor University as a full-time enrolled student (12 hours) and meet the above GPA requirement.
